How atus.hr uses cookies and analytics, and how you stay in control.

This policy explains how A.T.U Šimpović d.o.o. ("we") uses cookies and similar technologies on atus.hr, the legal basis for each, how long data is kept, and how you can change or withdraw your consent.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. atus.hr sets as few as possible: a single first-party cookie records your cookie choice. We do not use advertising, profiling, or third-party tracking cookies.

Self-hosted analytics (Umami)
When you accept analytics, we load Umami — an open-source analytics tool that we host ourselves at umami.atus.hr. It sets no cookies and instead uses hashed technical signals (such as a hashed IP address and user agent) to count visits and produce aggregate analytics. It records aggregate information such as the page visited, referrer, device type, and country, without storing your IP address in an identifying form. The data stays on A.T.U Šimpović infrastructure in Croatia and is never shared with or sold to third parties.
Legal basis
The necessary consent cookie is set on the basis of our legitimate interest in meeting our ePrivacy/GDPR obligation to record and evidence your choice (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). Optional analytics are loaded only with your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). You may withdraw that consent at any time; withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it.
Retention
Your cookie choice is remembered for 182 days, after which we ask again. Analytics data is stored on our own servers and kept only as long as needed for the purposes above; you can ask us to delete it at any time. Withdrawing consent stops the analytics script from loading on future visits.
